Yug Yadava

Advisory Council Member

Yug Yadava is an alumni representative on the Governor's STEM Scholars Advisory Council and a fourth-year biological sciences major at Rowan University's Honors College. Yug's main passions are clinical science, public policy, and journalism. He has published many articles related to health and current global affairs with one of his articles titled "Alarming Health Concerns in Yemeni Children" winning an award by the Helyx Initiative. He has also conducted a wide variety of research projects over the past few years from a clinical project focused on Vitamin D levels and brain volume with children that have demyelinating diseases to an analysis on the current Rohingya refugee crisis in Myanmar. Volunteering with CentraState Medical Center, Yug assisted patients and visitors to make sure they are given a quality experience during their stay or visit. He is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Journal of Young Investigators and the Co-Director of the Outreach and Research Department at SimplyNeuroscience. In his free time, Yug loves to go to the beach, hang out with friends, and explore new areas across the United States and around the world.
