Yug Yadava

Yug Yadava is a 2023 Governor STEM Scholar alumnus. He is currently a first year medical student at the Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (KansasCOM). As a Governor STEM scholar, Yug served as team lead. He navigated his team to conduct research on pediatric health in major geographical regions in the United States which turned into creating a website to share resources to students and parents. Yug has done extensive work in the field of research. He was a research associate at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Department of Emergency Medicine and interned at New Jersey Pediatric Neuroscience Institute (NJPNI) as well as Brainmind. He also served as the COO of the Journal of Young Investigators and as Co-Director of Outreach and Research at SimplyNeuroscience. He also has used his research to work on public policy papers which have been presented. In his free time, Yug loves to explore new places, find good places to eat in Jersey, and capturing the moment.
