Vinaya Vittal

Vinaya Vittal is a senior at McNair Academic High School. Her research evaluates how public health information systems prevent overtreatment in clinical settings, supporting her academic interest in biology. She directs the Jersey City chapter of PURE Youth, a nonprofit addressing inequality through projects aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. At school, Vinaya is a Student Council committee head, lead witness for Mock Trial, and a glee club member. She also studies Bharatanatyam dance, plays piano, and reads in her free time. She plans to pursue a career in biology and public health.
