Tze Chang Justin Ng
2026 Team Lead
Tze Chang (Justin) Ng is a second-year Ph.D. candidate in Cell and Developmental Biology at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. In the Lyu Lab, he studies how neural and molecular pathways influence aging and lifespan in fruit flies. He previously earned an MSc by Research at Lancaster University, where he examined commensal bacteria and nutrient-sensing pathways, and a BSc in Biomedical Science at Queen’s University Belfast. Justin has mentored students through the Harvard OpenBio Student Research Institute and advanced to the semi-finals of the Nucleate Activator Program in New York. Passionate about research and mentorship, he plans to pursue a career advancing aging biology while inspiring future scientists.
