Toluwanimi Obasola

Toluwanimi Obasola is a sophomore at Newark Tech. An aspiring engineer, he serves as a junior team coder, designer, and builder on his school’s robotics team and participates in a program that allows him to earn an associate degree upon graduation. Toluwanimi is currently planning a research project with a peer exploring how engineers can design medical devices that improve patient care while reducing staff workload. He also hopes to develop an automated room-cleaning system. Outside of STEM, Toluwanimi is a student-athlete and aspiring entrepreneur and participates in Youth Power Action and Winner’s Youth Alive.
