Tamara Kasikovic

Tamara Kasikovic is a junior at Old Bridge High School. Her main STEM interests lie in computer science as it pertains to business or astronomy. While interning at NASA, she conducted research on the intersection of robotics and space exploration. She programmed and simulated a robotic mission to an asteroid, Vesta, with the goal of picking up samples to search for signs of life. Additionally, she leads others in her school community as the Vice President for Academic Team and as Junior Executive for National Honor Society. She is also a member of Society of Women Engineers and Physics Club. Tamara serves over 5,000 members as the state webmaster and local chapter treasurer for Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). She has won awards at the regional and state levels for FBLA'S Information Technology competition. She was also recognized as a NCWIT State Affiliate Winner. In her spare time, she plays lacrosse for her high school's team. In the future, Tamara aspires to study computer science and eventually work as a software engineer for Goldman Sachs or NASA.
