Her leadership positions in school clubs and her youth group have led Shriya to become a Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership ambassador. Recently, Shriya joined her school’s Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam, which has developed a water bottle that self sanitizes using solar energy, while also saving lives, reducing plastic waste, and turning dirty water into safe drinking water. Shriya hopes to continue her studies in medicinal science and technology, while also feeding her passion for management science and community service.
