Shreya Dutt

Shreya Dutt is a senior at Woodbridge Academy Magnet School, with a career focus in biomedical sciences. As an Robert Wood Johnson Children's Specialized Hospital volunteer, she loves having a positive impact on the lives of young patients by making their days brighter. She is the founder of her organization and YouTube channel, The MoleCOOL Scientist, and is passionate about making STEM education accessible to kids through fun science videos and workshops. Shreya’s commitment to health education extends to her participation in HOSA conferences, where she has spoken about her experiences with food allergies at regional, state, and international levels. During summers, Shreya participates in protein research at Rutgers University and will be presenting her team’s poster at the NYC Integrative Structural Biology Symposium 2024. In addition to her STEM pursuits, she serves as the president of her school’s Ethics Debate Club, helping to lead her team to success in the National High School Ethics Bowl. She enjoys training in mixed martial arts and earned her first degree black belt. She also likes to play with her pet parakeets, dance, play the violin, and listen to music. She aspires to make advances in the field of allergy and immunology in the future.
