Shivani Aggarwal

Shivani Aggarwal is an alumni representative on the Governor's STEM Scholars Advisory Council. She was a member of the Class of 2017. Currently, she is an Associate with the New Jersey office of the Boston Consulting Group, spending most of her time with the Healthcare practice area. She is particularly interested in health equity, and understanding the ways that different public and private stakeholders across the value chain can drive better health outcomes for all.

Previously, Shivani obtained her Bachelor's degree in Integrative Biology, with a secondary in Economics, from Harvard University. While at Harvard, she conducted immunology research at the RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences in Japan and organizational behavior research at Harvard Business School. She subsequently received an MPhil degree in Health, Medicine and Society from the University of Cambridge, where she was a member of Trinity College. Her MPhil research centered on the philosophy of pharmaceutical drug regulation.
