Shirish Patel serves as Director of the Project Engineering Group at Public Service Electric & Gas Company, where he provides strategic leadership and technical oversight for major power system infrastructure and capital projects. With over 30 years of experience in the electric utility sector, he brings deep expertise in substation design and engineering, transmission and distribution grid security, reliability, operations, construction management, field execution, maintenance planning, and asset lifecycle optimization. He guides PSE&G through an era of rapid decarbonization, advanced digitalization, enhanced reliability, and heightened security, all while elevating customer expectations.
