Shawn Zou

Shawn Zou is a junior at Clearview Regional High School in Mullica Hill. He is the president of his school's Chess Club and Team, executive committee member of Math League, varsity team member of FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team 9848, treasurer of Technology Student Association (TSA), and pianist in Jazz Band. Shawn has also qualified for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) two years in a row from participating in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC). He also has been actively involved in tutoring other students. His main STEM interests are computer science and math, and he is currently building a website to make lineups for his summer swim team. Outside of STEM, Shawn volunteers and plays chess at the library regularly. In the future, he hopes to mentor future generations with his skills and experience.
