Saloni Singh

Saloni Singh is a senior at High Tech High School in Hudson County. She is an aspiring biomedical researcher and has worked alongside professors at New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers University to contribute to the fields of oncology and genetics. Recently, an academic paper she co-wrote was published in the research journal "Physical Review E" and she has had past work published on National Center for Biotechnology Information. Saloni is a strong believer in the intersection between biology and mathematics, as a state-level Medical Math medalist in SkillsUSA and HOSA contests. In the past, she partnered with RIP Medical Debt and led a statewide fundraising campaign to eliminate medical debt in New Jersey for those who are below the federal poverty line. She regularly volunteers at the Liberty Science Center. Saloni is also a stand-up comedian who is a big fan of talking about herself in the third person.
