Ryen Hagg
Ryen Hagg is a Senior in the five-year Honors Program in the New Jersey Center for Science, Technology, & Mathematics at Kean University. She will be obtaining her B.S. in Science & Technology for Chemistry this Spring with a state certification in Mathematics, and will continue her schooling to obtain her M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction. At Kean University, Ryen is a Student Ambassador in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. She is the lead ambassador for hiring, training, and mentoring, ensuring that the transition into the office for new hires is as smooth as possible. Ryen has conducted research alongside Dr. Brian Baldwin in the NJCSTM. Her research included using data obtained from the NJDOE regarding PARCC scores to determine a correlation between socioeconomic status and performance in school districts throughout New Jersey. In her free time, Ryen is a substitute teacher in Middlesex and Union counties, and volunteers as the Care Team Director of her church youth group.
