Rajveer Thakur

Rajveer Thakur is a senior at Parsippany High School. He demonstrates leadership through his school clubs where he is President of the Science Olympiad Team and Vice President of Math Team/Math Honors Society. Rajveer has also expressed his interest in biology and engineering through participating in the Rutgers virtual-Waksman Institute Summer Experience where he published 4 novel DNA Sequences to Genbank and learned software such as BLAST and protein identification. He also works hands-on with medical technology through serving as a junior volunteer for his city’s ambulance squad, assisting EMTs during calls. Outside of STEM, Rajveer likes to lead and run as captain of his school’s Cross Country Team. He also loves to spend time with his dog and go hiking. In the future, he hopes to make advances in medical technology.
