Rahul Anand

2027 Scholar

Rahul Anand is a senior at Montgomery High School. He has conducted research on automating the pilot-wave experiment through an integrated system combining machine-learning droplet tracking and an Arduino-based nonlinear oscillator. He has also investigated the geometry and efficiency of superconducting detectors at slightly elevated temperatures. Rahul plans to pursue electrical engineering. He also helps New Jersey high school students discover their passion for design and engineering through hands-on projects. Outside of STEM, Rahul sings Hindustani classical music, for which he has earned regional and national recognition, and plays the tabla. He enjoys building DIY electronics, including quadcopters, and dreams of one day building a fully functioning Iron Man suit.
