Parthavi Patel

Parthavi Patel is a junior in the Agricultural Sciences program at Somerset County Vocational and Technical High School. She recently placed first in the Food Products and Processing Systems division of the NJ FFA State Agriscience Fair with a project she did on glucose concentration in fruits. She is a member of the FFA and a student ambassador at her school. For higher education, Parthavi plans on studying Environmental Science and has a focus on climate change mitigation and environmental conservation, as well as sustainable global food systems. She has volunteered with a few environmental campaigns and is currently working with Welcome Womanhood, a nonprofit that works to empower and educate women, particularly in Africa and Asia.
