Noor EL-Hawwat

Noor EL-Hawwat is a senior at Rutgers University-Newark in the Honors College majoring in Computer Science. Inspired by a Braven Accelerator course, Noor participated in six hackathons. Noor is currently the president of the Girls Who Code chapter of her school, the vice president of communications of Color Stack Developer’s Club, and a fellow of the Break Through Tech chapter of Cornell Tech. She was selected as one of the first three scholars of the Claire Booth Luce Undergraduate Women in STEM scholarship for her dedication towards meeting her goals and promise for inspiring the future generation of women in STEM. Upon graduation, Noor plans to commit to a Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction or Symbolic Systems to solidify her expertise of the intermediary of psychology and computer science and kick start her business.
