Nikhil Osuri

Nikhil Osuri is a junior at High Technology High School in Lincroft. His main STEM interests lie in biomedical and mechanical engineering. Nikhil has competed and won awards in engineering in regional research competitions such as the New Jersey Academy of Science and Jersey Shore Science Fair. Nikhil was also a member of the 2022 VEX World Championship qualifying team, 765A. He has participated and won awards in hackathons for FireSense, a program that uses rotating cameras, a Raspberry PI, and backend servers to analyze the percentage of color in images taken of wildfires. He is currently the lead director of Champions, an after-school homework-help program at local elementary schools in Marlboro. In his free time, Nikhil enjoys playing soccer and volleyball, sketching, and hiking. In the future, he plans to pursue biomedical engineering and wants to use STEM to reduce inequities.
