Namish Bansal is a sophomore at Cherry Hill High School East, with a strong interest in coding and artificial intelligence. He participated in AI Scholars program of Inspirit AI, where he explored advanced topics in AI and machine learning. Using this knowledge, he developed an object detection model for self-driving cars and a Generative-AI based chatbot for his school. Namish is an active member of his school's VEX Robotics team, which has won multiple regional competitions and advanced to the State level in their first year. Additionally, he is involved in the Computer Science Club and earned recognition in the American Computer Science League (ACSL). Namish volunteers at various STEM-related educational centers, where he helps students learn robotics/coding concepts. Looking to the future, Namish plans to pursue a career in computer science, with a focus on expanding his expertise in coding/artificial intelligence to address social issues and fostering sustainable solutions. Beyond STEM, he is passionate about music and participates in his school's marching band, choir, and plays the piano. Namish is also the founder of the Voices of Hope school choir club, which performs in various community settings.
