Matthew McPhail

Matthew McPhail is a senior at Seton Hall Preparatory School in West Orange. He is a member of the National Honor Society and an active leader in the Math Honor Society, where he is a volunteer math tutor. He attended the Waksman Institute Summer Experience (WISE) program at the Waksman Institute of Microbiology at Rutgers University and will be published on the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). He also attended the Stevens Institute of Technology Pre-College Engineering Bootcamp program where he worked on creating helmet materials to prevent concussions. He enjoys playing ice hockey for both his school and club team. Matthew is interested in pursuing either biomedical or civil engineering in the future.
