Marlene Krueger

Marlene Krueger is a senior at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFHRHS). She recently moved to New Jersey after living abroad in Tokyo for four years. She loves learning about human biology, and in the future, she wants to be a pediatrician. At her previous high school she was a part of a competitive synthetic biology club conducting research on breast cancer biomarkers and aptamers. At RFHRHS, she is working on an independent research project on SPF variability in sunscreen. Marlene is the president of the Science National Honor Society and co-president of the Healthcare Career Club. She has also founded BraceletBuds, a nonprofit connecting high schoolers to kids in the hospital through bracelets. In her free time, she loves running, watching Netflix, and hanging out with friends.
