Manvi Mishra is a junior studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Edison Academy Magnet School. Her experiences supporting neurodivergent individuals and people with disabilities sparked an interest in neuroengineering and how technology can improve communication and independence. Manvi has developed an AAC application for individuals with communication disabilities and engineered a gait-tracking wearable device to support a co-designer with physical disabilities. She has also worked with an organization developing AI-based tools to support cancer patients and serves as a leader and programmer on her FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team. Manvi is particularly interested in the intersection of electrical engineering, artificial intelligence, and neuroscience and hopes to develop technologies that address neurological disorders. Outside of STEM, she is a competitive swimmer.
