Lucy Sandor is a sophomore at James Caldwell High School. She has interviewed leaders including U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and NASA Deputy Administrator Pamela Melroy as a reporter for Time for Kids. Inspired by these experiences, Lucy taught herself to code and created a service app that connects teen volunteers with local nonprofits. She has served as a Youth Ambassador for the NJ Division of Civil Rights and is now an advisory delegate to the International Organization of Youth in consultation with UN Habitat. In her free time, she plays bass with Jazz House Kids and runs cross country.
