Lu Wang, Ph.D.

Lu Wang was born and raised in Henan, China. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Zhengzhou University. After that, Lu began her doctoral work at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry. With her Ph.D. in organic chemistry, Lu took a postdoctoral position at the Institute of Microbial Chemistry in Tokyo, Japan, followed by another postdoctoral position at Ohio State University. Lu joined the Small Molecule Process Research & Development group at Merck & Co., Inc. in 2019.
