Leo Toake

Leo Toake is a junior in the Academy for Medical Science Technology at Bergen County Academies. He leads as president and captain of the Biology Olympiad team, guiding peers to success at national and international levels. His research explores exercise-induced protein expression and its potential role in cancer treatment. Dedicated to service, Leo volunteers in a hospital long-term care unit and coaches with the Special Olympics of New Jersey. He also co-founded the BCA Ping Pong and Wellness Club, fostering community health and wellness. Leo hopes to pursue a career at the intersection of biomedical research and patient care.
