Kevin Ozkuyumcu

Kevin Ozkuyumcu is a first-year doctoral student at the Joint Graduate Program in Toxicology at Rutgers University. He recently received his PharmD with Honors at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, where he was awarded the Stanley S. Bergen Jr. Medal of Excellence for his academic achievements and contributions to research. Kevin has presented his work on the cutaneous effects of sulfur mustard-induced injury and subsequent wound repair at many national conferences and was awarded the SOT Undergraduate Research Award at the 61st Annual Society of Toxicology Conference. He is an active member of his local Armenian community, where he served as the President of the Rutgers Armenian Student Association, was a counselor at AGBU Camp Nubar for six summers, and has also taught traditional Armenian dancing to many young dancers. In the future, Kevin plans to have a career in pharmaceutical research where he hopes to aid in the development of potentially life-saving novel pharmaceutics.
