
Kaylee Zhang
2026 Team Lead
Kaylee Zhang is a third-year Molecular Biology and Biochemistry major in the Honors College at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. She conducts research on women’s health and diabetic retinopathy in the Biomedical Engineering Department and spent the summer at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine studying a liver organoid model for P. falciparum. At Rutgers, Kaylee is a Learning Assistant for General Physics 1, a Department of Life Science Ambassador, a Red Pine Ambassador in Douglass Residential College, and a SUPER Research Program mentor. Passionate about cultural community, she has served as a Senior Program Coordinator Intern at the Asian American Cultural Center and is president of the Asian Student Council.
