Karen Agbolou

Karen Agbolou is a senior at Science Park High School in Newark. She works in a neurobehavioral lab, preparing experiments, logging data, and supporting analysis, and is a member of the Youth Enjoy Science club. Karen is especially interested in cognitive research and advocates for intersectionality in science, focusing on how race, gender, and society shape research approaches. At school, she is active on the debate team, where she manages communications, and she volunteers with University Hospital and the Community Food Bank. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing short stories, and learning new languages.
