Kaitlyn Miranda

Kaitlyn Miranda is a senior at Union County’s Academy for Performing Arts. She has been an active member of her school and the local community working as Student Government President, Dance Club Leader, HOSA member, Red Cross member, and US Shout! (Union County Students Helping-Out) volunteer. During the COVID crisis, she helped sort, package, and distribute food to hundreds of local families in need. Kaitlyn competed in HOSA’s Behavioral Health competition during the 2021-2022 school year and placed 1st at the regional level and second at the state level. She then represented the state at the HOSA International Leadership Conference and placed 2nd at the OSHA Academic Testing Center. She is fascinated by the healthcare world and passionate about elevating patient care. She has a strong passion to learn, understand, and teach others about the injustices found in the healthcare system. During her free time, she also enjoys reading, tap dancing, yoga, and being a Disney adult. Kaitlyn ultimately aspires to practice medicine and provide equal and quality care.
