Justen Wen
Justen Wen is a senior at Middle Township High School and a lifeguard at Stone Harbor Beach Patrol. Justen is President of his school's National Honor Society, Vice-President of Class, Vice-President of Student Council, Vice-President of Key Club, Officer of Interact Club, and Captain of the tennis team. He is heavily involved within his school and community, participating as a student ambassador, youth advisory board member, and volunteering at the John Walter Cape Community Band, and for the tennis One Love organization. Justen has also been recognized as a youth leader of the area, representing Middle Township in the 2022 NJ HOBY leadership conference, and 2023 Rotary Youth Leadership Conference. He has been awarded the Rensselaer Medal, President's Volunteer Service Award, National Small Town and Rural Recognition, Distinguished Honor Roll, and AP Scholar awards. Justen is also a founding member of the Robotics Club at Middle Township High School and finds interest in the engineering and computer science fields. He enjoys tennis, swimming, hanging out with friends, photography, board games, and the environment. As a kid, Justen kept an inventions journal of absurd inventions and observations in hopes to make an impact on the world through new discoveries in STEM.
