Jue Gong
Jue Gong is a senior at High Technology High School. As an active member and the current President of the Experimental Research Club, she has conducted research on the physics and aerodynamics of tennis balls as well as on the dying art of ancient Chinese wood joints¬¬¬¬–a scientific exploration of techniques as a tennis player and a manifestation of her appreciation for traditional Chinese culture. Her work has been recognized at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and the American Junior Academy of Sciences (AJAS). At school, she is also the Vice President of the Technology Student Association (TSA) Club and an active member of the Math Club. Some of her favorite hobbies include watching YouTube, making origami, and photographing food and nature. In the future, Jue aspires to apply her STEM knowledge to resolve interdisciplinary issues.
