
Jophy Lin
2026 Scholar
Jophy Lin is a senior in the Science & Engineering Magnet Program at Manalapan High School. Jophy co-leads Project CLERIS, a nonprofit reaching 3 million people worldwide with scientific resources and courses, including a flagship research program serving 30,000 learners. As an independent researcher, she is the first student in her district to qualify for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair and has done so twice, earning recognition at international and national levels. She co-leads her school’s Research Club, mentors peers in the Engineering Design Challenge, and helps organize district hackathons. Jophy has also presented her research at multiple venues and was honored by two New Jersey senators and the Governor’s Office. Beyond STEM, she runs a blog with 10,000+ readers in 60+ countries and enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and watching shows.
