Jo Anastasia Harkins

2026 Team Lead

Jo Anastasia Harkins is a fourth-year biology major at Stockton University with minors in behavioral neuroscience and historical studies. She conducts research on the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) and related proteins, examining how mTOR activity influences neural stem cell fate. On campus, Jo Anastasia serves as vice president of Stockton’s Circle K International chapter, where she has also been club editor and service chair. She is a member of the Stockton Honors College and a lead resident for the Office of Residential Life. She plans to pursue graduate study in neurobiology and a career in medical research on neurological recovery.
