Jacquelyn Anderson
Jacquelyn Anderson is a senior at Toms River High School North. She is the President of the National Honor Society, President and Founder of The Acts of Kindness Society, President of the Key Club, Director of Engagement for MedLife, a Roots&Shoots Chairwoman, and Varsity Cheerleader. She is currently enrolled in the Authentic Science Research Program which is a three-year independent study. She is actively researching how the COVID-19 pandemic has mentally affected young adults through surveys, analysis, and observation. Jacquelyn attended multiple Global Youth Leadership Conferences in medicine, biology, and leadership, but her true interest for STEM lies in the social sciences which is what she plans to commit herself to in higher education. She is also a devout volunteer for Relay for Life, MedLife, the Ocean County Library, and the Toms River Senior Center. In these programs, she helps people struggling with cancer, underprivileged families in Peru, activities and events run by her local public library, and the elderly citizens of her community. Most importantly, she is an extremely passionate individual who has dedicated her life to spreading kindness and positivity.
