Jacob Wierer

Jacob Wierer is a senior at Lakeland Regional High School. He is interested in aerospace engineering and public policy. Jake is a FIRST Dean’s List finalist and captain of his school’s FIRST Robotics Competition team. He is currently working as a member of a lobbying team seeking to expand funding for STEM education and extracurriculars in NJ public schools. Jake is President of his school's National Honor Society and Student Conductor of the Lakeland Band. Outside of school, Jake is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, climbing, and whitewater canoeing/kayaking. He is currently a member of New Jersey Search and Rescue.
