JéVanni L. Napoleon

JéVanni Napoleon is someone who aspires to flourish in the STEAM industry. For as long as she could remember, she’s always loved mathematics and music and was immersed in science by teachers. Therefore, she would love to find a sustaining career that connects both mathematics and music to solve world problems. As a rising junior of East Orange S.T.E.M. Academy, she is considering structural engineering as a possible field, because it involves mathematics, engineering, and kinesthetics. She recently also discovered an interest in industrial engineering. She was a dedicated Parliamentarian and Treasurer in the National Junior Honor Society from seventh to tenth grade and is eager to join the National Honor Society. She’s also a part of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Club at her school. Since middle school, she has participated in numerous STEAM activities and programs, including the New Jersey Institute of Technology Pre-College Summer Program and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Preface Program.
