Isaiah Muniz

Isaiah Muniz is a sophomore at Delbarton School. His STEM interests include engineering, astrophysics, astronomy, and space exploration, particularly how space-based technologies and data can be applied to challenges on Earth. A 2025 semifinalist in NASA’s Power to Explore Challenge, Isaiah participates in his school’s Research in Science Club and further explores his interests through independent study and citizen-science research with Zooniverse’s Planet Hunters TESS project. He has also participated in programs focused on astrophysics, programming, and data analysis and volunteers with Science Buddies. Outside of STEM, Isaiah serves as a Delbarton Student Ambassador and holds a leadership role in the school’s Diversity Among Peers program. He was also selected for Delbarton’s inaugural Poet Laureate program and is a self-taught video editor who creates original visual effects content.
