Isabella Merlino

Isabella Merlino is a senior at Toms River High School East STEAM Academy. She has pursued research in medical imaging, drug delivery, and medical device design at The College of New Jersey Biomedical Engineering Camp, as well as nursing simulations and research at American University’s National Student Leadership Conference. She also published two cDNA analyses through Rutgers University’s Waksman Institute. Isabella is Vice President of her class, Recording Secretary of the student body, and Vice President of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. She is co-captain of the varsity tennis team and serves as a school ambassador. Dedicated to service, she volunteers with Children’s Specialized Hospital, Field of Dreams, and a multigenerational orchestra.
