Henna Patel

2026 Scholar

Henna Patel is a junior at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South. She presented in the Future City competition, where her team earned first place in New Jersey and an international award for city design from the American Public Works Association. She has earned multiple Academic Decathlon awards in neuroscience, environmental science, economics, climate change, and computer history. At school, Henna is Director of Engineering for the Women in STEM club and co-vice president of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Club, where she teaches peers about neural networks and data analysis. She is also the founder of STEMHerWay, a community providing advocacy and free Python lessons for women in STEM. Outside of STEM, she volunteers with Hindi USA to support cultural education and language learning.
