Happy Boutrus
2025 Scholar
Happy Boutrus is a senior at High Tech High School. She Is the Head Publicist of the Bio-Med Club, Group Leader in the ACE Mentors NJ program, Interact Club Media team member, and a part of the National Honor Society. She previously was an Architecture Intern for her school, using industry-grade software to design and produce various need-based projects, including way-finding signage, strategic panel installation, and personal projects advocating for diversity by creating Architectural Awareness Month posters. With the Rutgers University TARGET program, she researched defining the standard for the most efficiently designed neural network models in automotive driving generative AI processing data. She also attended a Johnson & Johnson Day event, further exploring innovative medical technologies in today’s world. In her own time, she enjoys giving back to her community by volunteering as a math tutor for middle school children and as a Sunday school teacher at her local Egyptian church. Through her STEM-focused extracurriculars and community-based volunteer work, she aspires to become an innovative biomedical engineer working towards making healthcare accessible to all.
