Hannah Truitt
2026 Scholar
Hannah Truitt is a student at Clearview Regional High School. Her research at Rutgers and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology focuses on enhanced PID controls and path-planning algorithms for autonomous robots, with publications at both institutions. She has captained her school’s FIRST Tech Challenge team for four years, leading them to win the Inspire Award at the world level, and also contributes to her community’s FIRST Robotics Competition team, serving as a pit and Impact subteam leader. Hannah volunteers as a mentor for underrepresented students interested in STEM and hopes to advance innovation in robotics.
