Habiba Morsy

Habiba Morsy is an incoming freshman at Kean University in a five-year accelerated program in computational science and engineering. She has participated in the Girls Who Code summer immersion program and the Technical Enrichment Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University and studied cyber security at the Information Technology Institute in Egypt. She has held a medical internship at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Beyond her passion in STEM, Habiba is interested in film and television and has participated in the Future Filmmakers Workshop at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and served as the Director of her high school’s Media Production Club. Habiba has volunteered with multiple non-profit organizations such as Million Reasons, AFCA for Arts and Crafts, her high school’s Interact Club, and organized a clothing drive for Syrian Refugees in Jordan. She played basketball throughout high school as well as Taekwondo, making the National Team and winning nine international medals.
