Emmanuel Ishola

Emmanuel Ishola is a senior at Essex County Newark Tech School of Technology, where he studies robotics and technology with the goal of pursuing a career in aerospace engineering and astrophysics. As the founder of the Organization of Future Engineers, he works with students to explore their prospective professions in engineering through exposure to various facets of engineering, visits to institutions, and group projects. He is an Essex Tech IQ VEX Robotics tutor, and the lead builder of the robotics team. He recently presented a project on photonics and quantum technologies concentrated on laser communications at the Aerospace Corporation's Aerospace Institute. He is a senior mentor, Ron Brown GPS national leader, vice president of the student body, and an ambassador for the All Stars Project of New Jersey, where he works with the All Stars to create an accessible atmosphere at the Gateway Center in Newark. As a member of the Leaders of the 21st Century, he has worked on several humanitarian initiatives, including donating over 1,400 toiletry bags through the YMCA of Newark, organizing a symposium about food insecurity, and more. His ultimate career goal is to combine his interests in astrophysics and aerospace engineering and work for NASA.
