Eleazar Annamdevula

Eleazar Annamdevula is a junior at Biotechnology High School. At school, he worked with peers to investigate the antibacterial properties of commonly eaten mushrooms. Through Fox Chase Cancer Center’s TRIP Initiative, Eleazar applied his laboratory skills to a project focused on identifying potential treatments for inflammatory bowel disease, earning numerous awards at the Jersey Shore and Delaware Valley regional science fairs. He has a particular interest in neurological and psychological sciences and is fascinated by the brain. Outside of science, Eleazar serves as Senior Patrol Leader of his local Royal Rangers outpost, where he has helped organize food drives and other charitable events, and tutors students across Monmouth County. He also enjoys cardistry, billiards, board games, and video games.
