Charly Castillo

Advisory Council Member

Charly Castillo is an alumni representative on the Governor's STEM Scholars Advisory Council. She was a member of the GSS 2021 class. Charly is currently an undergraduate at Brown University, concentrating in Statistics and International and Public Affairs on a Security Track.

While in high school, she conducted research at Caltech, focusing on identifying the O'Connell effect in eclipsing star systems by fitting regression models. Currently, she is interning at the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, where she is actively involved in cybersecurity projects. She hopes to have a career in data analytics, leveraging data analytics to identify and mitigate security threats.
