Catharina Santana

2026 Scholar

Catharina Santana is a junior at Dwight Morrow High School. She co-founded Tiny Titans, a program supporting children with cancer through fundraisers and children’s books, and serves as president of the Lady Empowerment Association, mentoring young women in debate and leadership. In STEM, she has gained hands-on research experience through laboratory imaging and placed fifth at the HOSA State Leadership Conference for her cancer detection breathalyzer. Outside of academics, she translates between Portuguese and English at weddings and church services. Catharina plans to study molecular biology or neuroscience and advance accessible healthcare solutions.
