Carlos Sorto

2026 Scholar

Carlos Sorto is a senior at Elizabeth High School Frank J. Cicarell Academy. His STEM interests include computer science and engineering, demonstrated through projects such as an automated ticket machine and rideable vehicle for Odyssey of the Mind, where his team advanced to World Finals. He also developed JIP Finder, a web app created during the All Star Code Summer Intensive and presented to industry professionals. Carlos participates in the U.S. Army Educational Outreach Program STEM Foundations and serves as vice president of Mu Alpha Theta and junior representative of the Science National Honor Society. He hopes to study aerospace engineering.
