Carlos Pina

Carlos Pina is a senior at Perth Amboy High School. His STEM interests center on chemistry, where he has demonstrated experiments such as lemon batteries and exothermic reactions at school events and researched bioluminescence and biodiversity. He serves as parliamentarian of the National Honor Society and attendance officer of the Science National Honor Society, and is a member of Mu Alpha Theta. Beyond STEM, Carlos performs with the Jubilant Voices Gospel Choir in concerts, workshops, and competitions. He plans to pursue a career in chemistry, using research and outreach to make science more engaging and accessible.
