Bhavini Pandey

Bhavini Pandey is a junior at the Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Technologies. Her interests lie within technology and computer science. She has participated in many technology competitions including the ADP Tech Challenge (1st place), Hack JA (Best General Hack), and the Congressional App Challenge (4th place). She currently has an artificial intelligence research internship with the Federal Aviation Administration, researching helipad detection. At school, Bhavini is the treasurer of the Women in STEM chapter, treasurer of Interact Club, and Co-Vice President of Musical Cast. She is passionate about helping underprivileged youth gain interest in STEM. Bhavini pursues this interest as Executive Director of Outreach at STEM Mindset, a non-profit where she organizes free STEM workshops for kids, and as a Youth Wing Leader at Agraj Seva Kendra, a non-profit where she organizes STEM events such as Hackathons and research projects. She has also completed a research internship at Agraj Seva Kendra where she helped create an artificial intelligence COVID-19 mortality predictor. In the future, Bhavini hopes to study computer science and continue advancing her knowledge of artificial intelligence.
