Ariyana Rahman is a senior at John P. Stevens High School, where she is a varsity athlete, vice president of the Film Club, and president of the Latin National Honor Society. She enjoys and has much experience working with younger students as a volunteer at a local religious institution and as an instructor at a tutoring center. Aside from her academic goals of becoming a Biomedical Engineer, she loves to advocate against inequality for women in STEM, inaccessibility of equal opportunities around the world, and unsustainable and unethical industries that harm the planet, specifically third world countries and the environment. She hopes to better the world through advancements in medical technology by research and development.
