Annika Raj

Annika Raj is a sophomore at Biotechnology High School. She is currently the Secretary of her school’s Junior States of America (JSA) organization, Chapter Internal Affairs Agent on the state cabinet level of JSA, and was the Freshman Social Chair on Student Council. As a STEM enthusiast, she has founded and organized several events to increase education within her local community, and is also an active participant in Technology Student Association. She is currently a teen board member of STEAMpark, a nonprofit focused on providing STEAM resources to underprivileged children. Through STEAMpark, she has the opportunity to incorporate her love for arts and theater and integrate this with science and technology. Annika enjoys research, and investigated topics in molecular biology and genetics, and has published her research findings to the NCBI. In the future, she hopes to become a professional in the global health field applying her love for bioethics to to mitigate inequities.
